Jerilynn Marron
1945 - 2013

At Hospice House on July 8, 2013, following a courageous battle with cancer, Jerilynn Louise Marron, 67, was quietly and peacefully lifted into the arms of Our Loving Father.

Jerilynn was born on October 21, 1945, the daughter of Niels P. and Geraldine V. (Larson) Nielsen. A lifelong Kenosha resident, she was educated at Kenosha Schools. In 1963, she married Louis J. Zagame.

Jerilynn married her loving husband, John (Jack) Marron, on December 1, 2003.

She was employed at several local places: Hamilton Beach, Montgomery Ward, Tri-Clover Credit Union, and Kenosha Savings and Loan. She especially enjoyed her positions at women’s clothing stores, including Liz Claiborne, Ann Klein, London Fog and Aileen’s.

She loved crocheting, needlepointing and doing many other crafts. She spent many hours happily creating beautiful gifts for her family and friends.

She will be sadly missed by her husband, Jack; her children, Patricia (Zagame) Jacob of Barnes, WI; and Dino J. (Donna) Zagame of Bristol, WI; her sister, Susan M. Nielsen, and brother, Gary L. Nielsen. Her grandchildren, Bonnilynn and Louis Pilligor; Niko, Gabrielle and Garett Zagame; and many nieces and nephews, will also cherish memories of her.

Jerilynn was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Richard K. and Roger A.; her sister, Gayle P. Hannes; and her son-in-law, Tony Jacob.

Later in her life, she found her passion in dancing. Many friends will miss her playful and generous nature, as well as her amazing ability to learn and help others with new dance steps. She believed that life should be enjoyed. As James Howe said, “Life is short -- there will always be dirty dishes -- so let’s dance.”
