Louise
Widmar, age 92, a resident of Kenosha, died Friday, June 20, 2008,
at United Hospital Systems-Kenosha Medical Center Campus.
Louise was born February 9,
1916, in Kenosha, the daughter of Antoni and Julia (Sielicki)
Bielewicz. She attended Kenosha schools. In 1936, she married
Harry M. Hansen. He passed away in 1950. She then married Carl J.
Widmar, Sr. in 1951. He passed away in 1979.
Louise worked as a part-time
orthopedic brace maker for Dr. Howard Reinherz for 25 years,
retiring in 1975.
She is survived
by children: Carl J. (Harriet) Widmar, Jr., Donald R. Hansen,
Marlene (Howard) Schmaling, Barbara J. Gordon, Dennis J. (Mary)
Widmar, Thomas H. Hansen and Toni Marie Widmar. She is also
survived by a sister, Mary (Emerald) Knudson and a brother, Carl
”Specks"
(Lila) Bielewicz. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews,
grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a
daughter, Jane L. Marinelli, in 1995; and by twin daughters in
infancy, Mary and Marie, in 1955; by her brother, Edwin P. Bielewicz
in 1991; and a sister, Gladys E. Gergel in 2000.
